Design and Layout
The Oceanis 38.1 features a chine-forward hull and twin rudders, providing stability, control, and excellent tracking under sail. Its beam carried aft increases interior volume, making the saloon feel airy and accommodating for a full crew around the table. The L-shaped galley offers bracing points while cooking underway, and the redesigned chart table folds away to maximize space. Cockpit and Deck
The cockpit is spacious and social, with twin helm stations and a mainsail arch that keeps lines out of the way, enhancing safety for non-sailors. The Oceanis 38.1 is not a lightweight performance boat, but it handles well for short-handed crews. It has a displacement around 6,850–7,200 kg, providing a stable platform. The twin rudders and hard chine allow the helm to remain light and responsive, even when heeled. It points well upwind, balances easily under main and genoa, and carries momentum through tacks. This is the shoal draft version Draft options include shallow (5.43 ft) allowing flexibility for shallow bays while still providing upwind performance.

The deck features a sleek, modern profile with large side windows allowing for increased interior light. The deck hatches are flush-mount, offering an enhanced look that complements the new profile. Lengthening the cockpit has allowed the MH37 to have a cockpit that is roomier and the fold down cockpit table allows the crew to take advantage of more cockpit space. The cockpit of the MH37 also features a fold-down swim platform that extends the already lengthy cockpit another four feet when folded down while the boat is docked or at anchor. Even with the fold-down swim platform, the MH37 has a telescoping stainless steel swim ladder that can be easily accessed while the swim platform is up or down. This safety feature not only functions well, providing stable steps for re-boarding the boat, but also hides away, making for a cleaner looking stern. The transom features a large storage area designated to neatly stow away shore power cords.
Down below, the master aft cabin is roomy and features comfortable headroom and private access to the head. The interior has been enhanced with a richer look and feel. Enhancements start at the sole of the interior which features a hardwood flooring look that accentuates the true beauty of the Hunter 37′s interior. The large galley features Corian countertops with complementing stainless steel fiddles that not only keep items from falling off the countertops in a seaway but also serve as excellent hand holds for personal stability when preparing a meal or moving about below. The main salon is breathtaking from the level of fit and finish to the sheer volume she delivers. The Sabre 30 Series III, also known as the Mark III or Mk III (hulls #137–244 overall, with #144 marking the midpoint of production), is the final and most refined iteration of the beloved Sabre 30, produced by Sabre Yachts in Wiscasset, Maine, USA. Redesigned in 1986 as a complete evolution from the Mk I and II, it features increased LOA, beam, and freeboard for enhanced stability, interior volume, and light-air performance, while retaining the series' signature seaworthiness and forgiving handling. As a masthead sloop with fin keel (or optional shoal draft), it offers moderate displacement for responsive upwind work (PHRF 168–174) and a high ballast ratio (~38%) for confidence in 20+ knot winds. Hand-laid fiberglass construction (solid below waterline), teak joinery, and skeg-hung rudder make it a coastal cruiser par excellence, with a spacious saloon and easy single-handing for couples or families. The full Mk III run comprised 108 hulls from 1986 to 1993, with hulls #144–244 (50 units) representing later builds that often included refinements like improved galley ergonomics and optional Yanmar engines. As of January 2026, these yachts are staples for club racing and weekends, with strong resale values due to Sabre's enduring quality.

The design of the Catalina 14.2 Expo is based on the hugely successful Catalina 14.2. Having built over 5,000 Catalina 14.2s, the Expo is intended as an alternative rig configuration for those new to sailing or experienced sailors who want to enjoy the fun of small boat sailing in a simple, non-technical fun boat.
The SmartRig® system consists of a tapered carbon fiber mast and deck stepped Hoyt boom. Just two lines control all the sail's power. One line controls the sail size, while the mainsheet line shapes the sail.
Strong, yet flexible, the mast bends in the gusty conditions instead of the boat heeling excessively. Having far less weight than an aluminum mast, the boat is more stable, with less tipping. At the end of the day, just pull the furling line and the sail wraps completely around the mast.
The mast and boom are free-standing and have no wires or chainplates to work around. This not only greatly decreases set-up time, but makes for a roomy, more comfortable, inviting cockpit.
The one-piece aluminum Hoyt boom is up high and out of the way, with no chance of falling into the cockpit.
Tacks are effortless, and don't worry if you forget to duck, chances are the boom won't even come close overhead.
Having but one sail to furl and trim, the Expo is a simple machine. The sail opens to any point with the pull of a single line around the ultra-light carbon fiber mast.
