The 34-2 is designed by Bruce King, as a racer/cruiser, with a traditional look and interior design. They have healthy sail-area displacement and ballast ratios, a moderate fin keel, and a semi-balanced shallow spade rudder; combined, they make this boat comfortable and fast; with a fiberglass hull-to deck joint, keel stepped mast, and lead ballast keel.
