Designed for a simpler sailing experience, the Oceanis 51.1 is innovative in its choice of rigging and deck fittings. All the halyards and sheets are run aft to the helm station. Safety and comfort come first at the two steering stations.
The strong architectural choices of the Oceanis 51.1 increase the interior space considerably. Spacious and well fitted, the U-shaped galley is a living space in its own right, and is as pleasant under sail as it is at anchor. Continuing this unique idea of comfort into the more private areas, the Oceanis 51.1 has an owner cabin fitted with two storage spaces and has an en-suite shower room with separate toilet. The 1.6 m wide island bed is unheard of on a cruiser this size.

The Oceanis 34.1 is the perfect example of this approach, promising to provide safe cruising experiences aboard a boat that is easy to handle whoever is crewing it. Inside, this boat has two double cabins and a head compartment with very bright and airy interior. The boat has four deck hatches, four hull portholes and long windows in the coamings so you can live the cruising experience to the full right from the Oceanis saloon. The uncluttered layout and roof-top position of the mainsheet provides a spacious cockpit that is ideal for relaxation whether under sail or at anchor. A stylish swim platform provides easy access to the water. Marc Lombard’s team has taken the design of the new-generation hulls one step further, adding extra width to a third of the bow for better close-hauled pitch control and a more stable helm when heeling. Less underwater area improves the boat’s performance and ensures pleasurable sailing in light wind and medium conditions.
EXTERIOR DESIGN The deck layout has been designed to ensure maximum comfort and safety when moving around the boat, and when at anchor. The ropes for the halyard and the furling system are forward of the cockpit while there is a winch on each side for the helmsman to set the foresails. The result is an uncluttered cockpit ideal for relaxation, with easy access to the aft swim platform.
INTERIOR DESIGN The Nauta designers have created a chic, contemporary interior, in an elegant walnut or light oak finish. The deck hatches and multiple hull and roof portholes bring natural light into the boat and provide an excellent means of ventilation. In the saloon, the cleverly designed chart table with its folding top provides for two extra single berths.
