Designed by Nauta Design, the Oceanis 42’s cockpit makes the most of its outdoor space, with an open layout and easy movement from the helm to the water.

At the stern, two configurations allow the cockpit to adapt to the way you’re using the boat. With the transom open, the swim platform becomes a natural extension of the cockpit, creating easy access to the water and an inviting space while anchored.

Close the transom and the aft seating creates a more secure, enclosed cockpit with additional room for family and guests. The added seating near the helm is especially useful underway, keeping everyone comfortable and connected while sailing.

At the twin helm stations, the Oceanis 42 incorporates many of the design advancements introduced aboard the larger Oceanis 47 and Oceanis 52. Integrated seats and backrests provide greater comfort, while ergonomic consoles bring navigation instruments, sailing controls and the engine throttle within easy reach.

Step below and the Oceanis 42 immediately feels open, bright and inviting. Abundant natural light, generous interior volume and a clean, contemporary design create a space that feels equally suited to weekends aboard or extended cruising.

The Premium interior upholstery is available in three distinctive styles, allowing owners to personalize the atmosphere below deck. Ivory offers a clean, classic look; Sunset brings a warmer, more comfortable feel; and Pacific delivers a fresh, timeless aesthetic.

Throughout the interior, sand-colored oak finishes add warmth while maintaining the Oceanis 42’s modern character. Substantial wood edging and carefully considered finishes give the cabinetry and surrounding surfaces a refined, quality feel. It’s an interior designed to look sophisticated without feeling overly formal.

At the center of it all is a spacious, light-filled saloon designed for relaxing, dining and entertaining.
